Your patient journey will unfortunately almost always begin with a fracture or injury to your hand or wrist. If you have not had an injury then this pathway and service are not for you and you should consult your general practitioner to get advice, help and treatment if needed.
We receive referrals from emergency departments and urgent care centres across London
We work with and receive tertiary and complex referrals from other units across London and the United Kingdom.
We aim to keep you informed and up to date at every stage and the map below shows what happens when we receive a referral. It is important that we have correct and reliable contact details for you. You can update your details with the hospital emergency reception. Please give a valid email address, mobile telephone number AND address to the emergency team when you attend. This makes it easier for us to communicate with you if you are referred to us and should you need any treatment.
